This one features a song that Scott and I wrote about Alana. I met her at Scripps when some computer I was needing needed a fix. This shy and sweet girl shows up, fixes the problem, and was just so nice. Obviously I had to use my musical skills to embarrass her as much as possible. We became friends almost instantly.
I came up with the idea and chorus, but Scott was behind all the clever computer stuff and the rest of the lyrics. I had Nad do background vocals, which was a bad idea, because he is such a better singer it just makes me sound bad. Somebody called while we were tracking vocals, and we just left that in. Because WHY NOT?!?!?!?!?
